Miss Namibia Johanna Swartbooi Left in Awe by the Top 10 Finalists
Miss Namibia 2025, Johanna Swartbooi, has nothing but praise for the Miss Namibia 2026 Top 10 finalists.
After spending time traveling across the country with the contestants, Johanna says she has been left inspired by the young women competing for the crown and believes Namibia’s future is bright regardless of who walks away as the next queen.
Speaking in a recent interview, Johanna shared that one of her biggest hopes is that the finalists leave the competition with a deeper appreciation for Namibia, its diversity, and its potential.
“Namibia will be in good hands, regardless of who takes the crown,” she said.
The reigning queen revealed that every interaction with the finalists left her in awe, describing them as a group of young women capable of making a meaningful impact across the country.
For Johanna, the Miss Namibia journey is about more than beauty and competition. It’s an opportunity for young women to discover the richness of Namibia, embrace its cultural heritage, and recognize the power of unity.
She believes Namibia’s diversity and abundance of resources have the potential to elevate the nation when people work together toward a common goal.
“So I think it’s about seeing the beauty in Namibia and celebrating that, and also celebrating heritage and unity,” she said.
As anticipation builds toward the Miss Namibia 2026 finale, Johanna’s words serve as a reminder that the pageant is not only about crowning a winner, but also about empowering young women to become ambassadors for their communities and their country.
One thing is clear: whether it’s through advocacy, leadership, or service, this year’s finalists are already making an impact.
And according to Johanna Swartbooi, Namibia has every reason to be proud.
