“I Can’t Believe It’s Almost Over” – Miss Namibia Finalist Charene Labuschagne Reflects Ahead of the Grand Finale

July 15, 2026

With the Miss Namibia 2026 finale fast approaching, finalist Charene Labuschagne says the reality of the competition coming to an end is both exciting and emotional.

Speaking about the final weeks leading up to the crowning moment, Charene admitted that hearing people say there are only a few weeks left still feels surreal.

“I’m scared when people keep saying it’s just a matter of a few weeks left. Surely it has to be longer, it can’t be over so soon.”

Despite the bittersweet feeling, she says she’s looking forward to stepping onto the stage in Gobabis and showcasing just how much she has grown throughout the competition.

“I’m really excited to show Namibia how I’ve grown, to show the judges how I’ve grown, and to show myself how much I’ve learned and evolved as a woman,” she shared.

As someone who describes herself as “a stage performer at heart,” Charene says one of the highlights she’s eagerly anticipating is the evening gown segment.

“I’m really excited for that because I’m a stage performer at heart. Just the opportunity to be on stage and show Namibia and the world at large what I’m capable of, I’m really looking forward to that.”

As the countdown to the Miss Namibia 2026 grand finale continues, Charene is embracing every remaining moment of the journey and preparing to leave everything on the stage.
