“If You See a Part of Namibia You Love Reflected in Me, Vote for Me”
As public voting for Miss Namibia 2026 officially gets underway, finalist Charene Labuschagne is encouraging Namibians to support her journey to the crown with a heartfelt message.
Asked why she believes people should vote for her, Charene responded with humility, saying she understands that asking for someone’s vote is a big request.
“It’s a big ask to ask somebody to vote for me,” she said.
Rather than focusing on fame or personal recognition, Charene explained that her motivation has always been driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact.
“My greatest fear has always been living a small life. The opposite of that isn’t necessarily fame and fortune, but having the platform and opportunity to showcase the Namibia that I love.”
She shared that competing in Miss Namibia has changed her in many ways, helping her become a better listener, a more curious traveler, and someone who has developed an even deeper appreciation for the country.
“Through this Miss Namibia journey, I’ve turned into a better listener. I’ve become an even more curious traveler, and I’ve fallen more deeply in love with Namibia than I ever thought possible.”
Charene ended her message by inviting Namibians to support her if they see their own love for the country reflected in her journey.
“If you out there in Namibia see a part of the Namibia that you love reflected in me, then it would be my greatest honor if you voted for me for Public Choice.”
With the race to the Miss Namibia 2026 crown heating up, public voting gives Namibians the opportunity to help their favourite finalist move one step closer to victory.
